Rehearsal schedule for Spring Musical Variety Show:
Informational Meeting: Feb 4th 2:30-3:30p: Come and learn more about the show, rehearsals and how to get registered.
Auditions
Acting auditions: Feb 9th,11th and 12th, sign up for a slot when you register. Singers wanting vocal solos need to audition on Feb 11th with potential call backs Feb 12th. Sign up for a slot when you register to sing in the show.
Cast Posting
Feb 17th 5pm on the website and via email to parents. Scripts will be sent later during the break.
**Student and Family Zoom meeting 7-7:30p Monday February 23rd:**
Many families were not receiving the Weekly Update email in the fall and to reduce confusion I am doing a Zoom meeting explaining the schedule and answering questions.
Actors meet:
Wednesdays 2:30-4:00p: from Feb 25th to April 22nd.
Week of April 27th is Tech Week, every day after school
Singers and Dancers meet:
Wednesdays 4-4:45p from Feb 25th to April 22nd as well as every day after school Tech Week.
Creative Teams and Stage Crew meets:
Mondays from 3:45-5p from Feb 23rd to March 23rd will be organizing and creating sets/props and costume pieces. Mondays 3:45-5p from March 30th to April 20th will be Stage Crew practicing operating lights, sound, set pieces. Stage crew also meets every day Tech Week April 27th to May 1.
Fri May 1st: after school Tech rehearsal then Pizza Party then show-6:30-7:30p

What does it cost to join?
-The program is free to join for the year 2025/2026.
Am I guaranteed a part if I try out?
-Yes, everyone who auditions for an acting role will get one.
-Singers: (For the Spring Musical only:) The only singers who have to audition are the singers wanting a solo in a part of a song or a whole song. Auditioning for a solo does not guarantee that you will receive a solo or duet but you will be singing in a group in multiple skits. All dancers and singers wanting to sing in a group do not need to audition.
How do I join?
-Have a parent or guardian click the Register tab to register you for performing or a creative team.
Where are the rehearsals?
-In the auditorium after school for the actors.
-(Spring Musical only): Singers and Dancers stay and rehearse from 4-4:45.
-Actors will rotate through stations to be busy most of the rehearsal but will also have some downtime to chat with friends.
-Creative Teams and Stage Crew will also meet on the stage on Mondays.
Can I sign up to sing AND dance? (Spring Musical ONLY)
-Unfortunately no because both rehearse at the same time. You have to choose which you prefer - singing or dancing. The dancing is designed to be gender neutral and easy to learn if you have never danced before (pirate dances - think swords and skipping and comedic movement set to music.) We also have some more complicated dancing roles for the students with dance background.

Auditions
For actors and singers wanting solos only (singing is only in the Spring Musical)-
(Crew, Creative Teams, dancers and singers who don't want solos or duets just register on the registration page of this site)
- The link to sign up for an audition slot is embedded in the registration page. Do not forward that link.
- No need to memorize anything for the acting audition, the singers wanting solos will have access to music and an excerpt from a song they can practice.
-Stage Crew (including Lighting Team)- will meet every day Tech week.
